Meeting was called to order by Cindy Heath at 7:40PM.

Secretary Report:  Motion to approve the minutes was made by Ann Lindley.  Seconded by Wendy Miller.  Motion carried.

Treasurer Report:  December financials were reviewed.  North students’ IBA accounts will be transferred to the North account at the end of the year. Statements were sent out to students with a balance due on the trips. Motion to approve the budget was made by Mary Ellen Pifko.  Seconded by Tom Blakley.  Motion carried.

Ways & Means:  We have 5 fundraisers left:

Cupid Raffle is underway, tickets have been mailed out to the band students. Stubs and money are due back by January 29th.  Prizes will be $100 per day for the month, $200 on Valentine’s Day.  If all tickets are sold, the projected income is $8,500.

Spaghetti Dinner tickets will be out this week. Each music student will receive 10 tickets. Stubs and money are due back by February 8th. 1400 tickets will be distributed.  Projected income is $10,000 if all tickets are sold. Volunteers are needed for all areas.  Desserts are also needed.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is March 8th.  Tom Blakley is chairman.  Any student that needs volunteer hours for school can work.

Winter Guard Show is April 5th and 6th at East.  Central will be used for practices and housing of the groups.

Flower Sale order forms will be out the 1st week of February.  They will be due back by March 7th,  with delivery on May 9th.  This is the last IBA fundraiser for this year.  It’s a good way to get started on next year’s expenses.

Sue Ann DelVicario announced that Alicia Lambert has been named as one of the 10 Outstanding Young People in The State of Illinois by the JayCees.  She will be honored at a banquet later this year.

Mr. Calhoon  reported that the Jazz I concert with Dr. Ron McCurdy will be at SHJH on January 18th. Admission is free.

January 19th--Jazz I will be at the Purdue Jazz Fest

January 24th-Junior High and Wind Ensemble concert

February 9th-Jazz II will be at the New Trier Jazz Fest at 11:00AM

February 13th-Jazz II will be at the Prairie State Fest

February 23rd-Jazz I will be at Jazz in the Meadows

Auditions for the Spring Musical are this week.

Mr. Johnson reported that Color Guard camp starts in 2 weeks.  Updates will be on the website.

A meeting for all North Music Students will be January 23rd after school.

Music auditions will be April 1st for all students.  The grade schools will be contacted with the information.
