GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

Cindy Heath called the meeting to order at 8:00PM.

Secretary’s Report
Motion to approve the minutes was given by Ann Lindley.  Seconded by Debbie Blakley.  Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report
Motion to approve the budget was given by SueAnn DelVicario, seconded by Steve Garbaciak.  Motion carried.

The fee for the Music Boosters has been increased to $25.00.  It will include free admission to athletic events at both LWE and LWC.  Cards will be distributed at the Band Camp meeting on July 25, 2007. Money will be for both East and North organizations, for their scholarship and music programs.

Ways and Means Report
Tom McKay reminded everyone that the Car Wash is Saturday, June 17.  Volunteers are still needed for the afternoon shifts.  It is mandatory for band members.

Relay for Life was June 8, 2007.  $1400.00 profit was made.  A $250.00 donation was given to the American Cancer Society.

Current Business
Chairman for the Frankfort Fall Fest this year is Tom Schoenhofen.  We will be in the food court this year. Volunteers are needed for both the food booth and the dunk tank.  We will be building a new booth this year because we are not combining with LWC for the fest.

Steve Garbaciak is the chairman for the Dist 210 Field Show, which is held at East this year.  Volunteers are needed. 

Sue Ann DelVicario reported that the Levy Corp. is offering a volunteer weekend to work the Nascar Race on July 14 and 15 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet.  They will pay $125.00 per person per day, which will go directly into your student’s IBA account.  Applications are available on the website.  Alcohol training must be done prior to the race.  This will be done at the Speedway Thursday, June 21, 2007 and 6PM and 8PM. 

Communications
Teri Schuh is working on getting email addresses for the entire Booster organization.  Forms are to be filled out today and handed in after the meeting.

Mary Ellen Pifko made a motion to adjourn at 8:25PM; seconded by Ann Lindley.  Motion carried.
