GENERAL MEETING - TUESDAY
NOVEMBER 13, 2007 Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Cindy Heath at 7:00PM.

Secretary’s Report:   Motion to approve the minutes was made by Mary Ellen Pifko, seconded by Ann Lindley.  Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report:  Mike Albert presented the September report.  Marching Griffins will be sent reminders of balances due. Money needs to be transferred from the IBA accounts.  The Home Show brought in $15,000 more than budgeted, with more to come.  Siam brought in $13,000 more than budgeted, due to the increase in price of the cards. Motion to approve was made by Joyce Eriks, seconded by Mary Ellen Pifko.  Motion carried.

Ways & Means: Tom McKay reported;

The winner of the Car Raffle won $7,800.  1786 total tickets were sold.  Sales at the football games and Fall Fest went well.  40% of Marching Griffins did not sell tickets.  36% sold all 10 tickets, the remaining sold less than 10 tickets.

Cupid Raffle will be in February.  Kris Lindley needs someone to shadow him for next year.

The Spaghetti Dinner will be on February 14th, it is a music fundraiser.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be done by Tom Blakley.

Winter Guard show is at East on April 5th and 6th this year.  It will be the Championship Competition.  Central will also be involved; it will be used for practices and sleep overs.

Cindy Heath will be in charge of Concessions at the Kaleidoscope Concert.

Uniforms are to be turned in on December 8th from 9-11AM.  A shadow for uniforms (for East) is needed for next year. Please contact Ann Lindley or Barb Albert.

Gail Gray reported that tickets for the Madrigal Dinners went well.  Contact her for tickets.

Mr. Johnson and the Marching Griffins were honored by the Village of Frankfort on November 5th for their victory at Illinois State.  It will be shown on their cable channel. 

Mr. Johnson reported that the State Trophy is on display in the main office of the school.

The recording session for the Marching Griffins will be on November 19th from 4:15-9:00PM.
