The 2008 Lincoln-Way East Instrumental Awards Banquet
You and your family are cordially invited to attend this year’s
Instrumental Awards Banquet to be held on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at DiNolfo’s Banquets located at 9425 West 191st Street in Mokena. The evening will be an elegant and memorable affair with dinner consisting of a family-style presentation of soup, three entrees, including sirloin of beef, fried chicken and mostaccioli, dessert and an open soda bar for the evening. Expected dress attire should reflect dress pants and shirt (tie optional) for gentlemen and a dressy pantsuit, dress or skirt for the ladies.
Cost per person is $26.00. Senior student band members’ tickets are complimentary. Age two and under are also complimentary. Ticket order form is attached below. Please complete and submit your orders with payment to the blue mailbox located outside the music office. Tickets sales are open through May 6 (Booster Meeting). No orders or refunds after May 6. Schedule for the evening will be:
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pictures and Conversation (remember to bring your camera)
5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Dinner (round tables of 10)
6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Instrumental Awards for Concert, Jazz and Marching Bands
6:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. Marching Griffin Video Presentation
7:15 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Closing and Goodbyes
Pre-ordered Marching Griffin DVDs will be available for pickup at the banquet.
We, as staff and parents, are very proud of all of our Music Department students and their accomplishments. Congratulations graduating seniors on a great high school music career. The LWE Music Department and Music Boosters hope all students and their families will join us for this wonderful evening to celebrate this past year’s amazing music season.
