The Drumline has been working outside all day and water jugs can be seen everywhere.

Some new drummers look at where their sticks are going,

but they quickly learn where their eyes should be focusing.

And that makes these two very happy.

This is an all familiar look of determination

on everyone's face.

Day 1 of a full Marching Griffin practice is coming to an end and there are expressions of fatigue, joy, and confusion.

It looks like fun was had by the majority.

As Mr. Smith reviews the events of the day and expectations for tomorrow,

all listen intently.

Its time to gather belongings and depart for the day.

Thursday, June 14, 2007 Code of Conduct Meeting

Booster parents meet and greet freshman parents and students for a mandatory Code of Conduct meeting. Here forms are handed out to be read and signed by parent and child. They are mandated by LW School District 210 and are mandatory to participate in the Marching Band.

Mrs. Antonini is getting all the medical forms together. There are strict guidelines for dispensing meds to students.

Mr. Watland fills out the paperwork before the meeting.

Mrs. Del Vicario, LW North Music Booster President, fills out her paperwork.

Mrs. Stanker and Mrs. Jones finish assembling the last few packets. This is a time consuming, but necessary task. Thanks to all of our parent volunteers who helped.

Father and son meet before going inside the auditorium.

Mother and daughter get their paperwork.

Parents and child sit together to make signing the forms easier and quicker.

Mr. Blakley answers a few questions before the meeting.

Freshman families await the start of the meeting.

These freshman parents have two drummers in the family.

After the meeting, forms and checks are turned in at a table set up in the cafeteria.

A few last minute signatures,

and they're done.
