IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
Cell Phones:
It is a privilege to carry a cell phone on this trip, not a right. Students are allowed to carry cell phones. They must remain off during rehearsals, performances and after lights out, as well as any other time deemed appropriate by the directors or staff. Any violation of this rule will result in the student relinquishing the phone to a director, followed by appropriate school and/or music department disciplinary action.
Tickets:
All seats are General Admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Stadium Box Office or online at www.bands.org. . A Prelims/Finals Combination ticket is $28. Separate tickets can be purchased for either Prelims or Finals if you wish.
Spectator Parking:
Parking is located in the lots surrounding the stadium. Enter from Floyd Street at the Gate D/E entrance. Parking is $5.00 per vehicle.
Directions:
I-65 South to the Crittenden Drive Exit. Turn right off exit ramp and proceed to the intersection of Central Ave. and Crittenden. Turn left onto Central and proceed to Floyd Street.
Video and Audio Recording:
ABSOLUTELY NO PERSONAL VIDEO OR AUDIO RECORDING IS ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM. THESE DEVICES WILL BE CONFISCATED. Personal still cameras are allowed. Professional videos will be available for purchase on-site.
Concessions:
Concessions will be available throughout the day. The stadium will be cleared and concessions closed between Prelims and Finals.
Travel Releases:
Students may be picked up by their parents at the stadium following Finals Awards on Saturday night, provided they have a Travel Release and the parent personally sees the student's chaperone prior to taking him/her. Students may also be picked up by their parent at the hotel on the morning of return to Illinois. The parent must personally see the student's chaperone before taking him/her.
