Marching Griffins Itinerary:
12:30 pm Band Room Open
1:00 pm Meet in Bandroom (Summer Uniform, shirts tucked in, etc.)
1:15 pm Depart for Performance
2:15-2:30 pm Arrive in Momence and Eat Lunch (Lunch Provided)
3:00 pm Warm-up/Parade Begins
3:40-3:50 pm Approximate Marching Griffins Step-Off Time
4:50 pm Approximate time to load buses to return to LWE*
5:45 pm Approximate arrival at LWE Band Room
Parade kicks off at 3:00 p.m.

Here is the way we will likely travel:
I-57 South to Kankakee
Exit onto Hwy 17 East
Hwy 17 joins Hwy 1
Follow into Momence
Main part of parade usually runs south on
Walnut Street and then from East to West on 2nd St.
We will board buses at Momence Jr. High & High Schools
*Note: with a completed travel release form parents may transport their own child home following the parade. Forms must be given to bus chaperone in person before departure.
