| The community, family and friends were invited on Thursday, April 5, 2007 to help celebrate a very successful Winterguard season. All three LWE Winter Guard groups joined together to host a performance event to show appreciation to all who made this year possible. The Junior Winterguard showed off their newly acquired skills in their first public performance. The guests were encouraged to come cheer on these incoming freshmen and encourage them to continue with the Marching Band. Winterguard 2 took the circuit by storm by winning first place in all of their competitions as well as FIRST PLACE at the Midwest Colorguard Circuit Championships in their last weekend in LaPorte. This was very impressive for a guard in the first year of competition. Winterguard 1 continued to WOW the crowds! After being a top Guard throughout the season, they finished with an amazing 3rd place at the Circuit Championships. The show was held in the gym and was FREE OF CHARGE.
