2:30 PM Warm-up (Area C)

3:30 PM A Great Prelims Performance

3:45 PM Load Equipment

4:15 PM Depart Lake Park H.S. for Rehearsal

6:00 PM Dinner Provided
(Subway sandwiches, etc.)

7:30 PM Finals competition begins

(There is no guarantee that we will perform in finals)

10:15 PM Awards

11:15 PM Depart for Lincoln-Way East

(If you are returning with your parents, you will need a travel release form)

• This is a prelims/finals show. Bands must qualify during prelims to perform in finals.
  Traditionally Lincoln-Way East advances into finals, but there is never a guarantee of this happening. Great performances are most importantto us, not placements or trophies.
• This contest attracts many groups and good seats are scarce. Plan to arrive early if this is important to you.
• Tickets are sold at the gate for a reasonable price. Discounted family packs are available for groups with two parents and two children.
• Concessions are sold on-site. If you wish to leave campus, there are many restaurants close by on Lake Street or Irving Park Road.
• The students will be away at a rehearsal site near the contest during part of the day. This is a time for them to rehearse and prepare for the day’s performance(s). Please respect this private time by supporting them at the contest site, but not following the busses to the rehearsal site.
• Our caravan of vehicles typically includes six busses, two trucks, and one or two staff vans. For safety reasons please do not follow this caravan on the way to the contest or on the way home, and especially do not place your personal car between any of the Lincoln-Way vehicles.
