Spring Musical Audition Elements
Cast
There will be three portions to your audition all done on Monday, November 23rd:
Choreography
Vocals
Acting
Your choreography audition will be in a group of about 6 people.
You will do the dance twice, with you in the front row of 3 once, and in the back row of 3 once.
There are TWO options for dances. You can do the tap dance audition or the non-tap dance audition. All guys and girls who are tap dancing MUST purchase Black tap dancing shoes. They need to match this type:

Those not doing a tap dancing auditions should wear nude character shoes. You can find them here:

There will be days for you to learn the choreography from our choreographer, Ms. Gina and our student directors.
Your vocal audition will be alone in the room. Our accompanist Mrs. Schieber will play for you.
You will sing one of the selected excerpts
NO other excerpts will be accepted under any circumstances.
Those selections can be found on the brown table in the choir room.
Your acting audition will be in a group of four.
You may be asked to read other roles than what you are auditioning for to aid in the audition of someone else in your group.
We will supply tables and books.
Should you need anything else for your audition, you will need to bring it yourself. These readings will also be the same for callbacks.
If you are not interested in a lead, you may read any part or the last monologue “General Audition”
The callback list will be posted the at the discretion of the directors and a callback date will be set for specific roles.
The finalized cast list will be posted on the lwemusic.org website
